Highway Clean-Up Day
CRAC is a community minded club and has adopted a
section of Alberta's 22X Highway which it maintains clear and free of garbage
and debris.
Every September, the club members gather together
and clean up the highway. After the work is done, we have a sociable event to share stories, catch up and enjoy each others'
company!
CRAC had a good weather day for their Highway
Clean-up. Club folk came out in good numbers to share in some worktime and
playtime. In attendance were: Rick Miller, Pat Hyndman, Rejean Gariepy, Monique
Plumb, Cliff & Doreen Hooker, Eva Van Beeten, Bill Parslow, Heidi Miller-Zerr,
Kevin Zerr, Sue Gatenby, Syd & Donna Wyatt.
After the clean-up work was done, the gang joined
up and had themselves a feast of BBQ burgers, potato salad, all the trimmings
and tarts for dessert. There were stories related and lies told as they warmed
themselves around the BBQ that substituted for the campfire!
